ROTIP-EM
Rotational Tip
The ROTIP-EM is a rotational axis plug-in for the MM3A-EM
micromanipulator. It provides a fourth degree of freedom
allowing 360¡ unlimited axial rotation of the tip holder,
required for numerous SEM and FIB applications. Tips
can rotated with a resolution of 0.1¡ per step, allowing
applications like true FIB lathe milling, tomography
and STEM to be performed. The ROTIP-EM can be combined
with the MGS2-EM microgripper to allow gripped objects
to be rotated.
